Dr. Friedrich von Gottberg is a seasoned business leader with over 25 years of experience successfully leading business and technical teams in the specialty chemicals and materials science industries. His career spans both early-stage specialty ventures and large, established commodity businesses.

Previously, Dr. von Gottberg served as President and CEO of Voxel8, an additive manufacturing company acquired by Kornit Digital. Prior to that, he spent more than 20 years at Cabot Corporation, where he held a range of leadership roles, including Vice President of Research & Development, Vice President of the New Business Segment, and President of the Purification Solutions business. Dr. von Gottberg is a chemical engineer by training. He holds a PhD and Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.
