Lauren Barrett brings a strong analytical foundation and cross-sector experience across climate technology, federal intelligence analysis, and scientific research. Prior to joining Verdox, she worked at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where she supported federal investigations and national security initiatives across both Boston and New York field offices. Her background in federal intelligence and neuroscience research drives a data-driven approach to decision-making in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment.

Lauren joined Verdox in 2021 and has played a central role in establishing the company’s financial and operational foundation to support its mission of scaling electrochemical carbon capture technology. She now serves as Director of Finance and Business Operations, leading financial strategy, accounting, business development, investor relations, and business operations. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Trinity College as well as financial and managerial accounting certificates from Harvard Business School and Cornell University. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Accounting at the University of Connecticut.
